Community Languages SA (CLSSA) Partnership

In partnership with the CLSSA, the Hellenic Studies Foundation commissioned a full suite of Modern Greek curriculum units for years 7 to 10. The first of their kind in Australia for any language, these units are a quality resource for all Modern Greek language professionals. Led by the CEO of CLSSA, Brett Shuttleworth and Dr Irene Zinonos, the units were developed in consultation with subject matter experts, local modern Greek teachers, linguistics academic Dr Peter Mickan and the Chairman of the Multicultural Education and Language Committee, Neol Mifsud  who has also been recognised by the publication Educator’s Australia as “(one of) the Best Educators in Australia influencing Culture and Reform.” This cutting-edge work will be launched on 31 October at the Hellenic Studies Foundation 2025 National Educators Forum.
