Greek Study Trips

The Foundation has sponsored study trips in both the Tertiary and High school space.

In 2025, the Foundation contributed funding to support the Port Adelaide Greek School’s study trip to Greece, enabling 15 high school students to participate. The program included visits to key historical and educational sites facilitated by a licensed tour guide with the primary goal of the tour to further deepen the students’ understanding of the Greek language and culture through real life experiences. The program was thoughtfully curated with a study booklet specifically developed for the trip and each student completed an assessment pre and post trip to track their language learning progress. Language immersion is one of the most powerful ways to develop command of a second language and students who participated unanimously reported that the experience ignited their desire to maintain their Greek language studies. This outcome directly aligns with the vision of the State Government and the intention of the grant.
