Modern Greek Language Teachers Association of South Australia Professional Development Session with Prof. Gianfranco Conti

In October 2025, with the support of the Foundation, the Modern Greek Language Teachers Association of South Australia successfully delivered its new professional development initiative featuring renowned educator Prof. Gianfranco Conti. Held at the EDC in Hindmarsh, the four-hour event provided two targeted workshops on evidence-based vocabulary and grammar instruction. Participants explored high-impact, research-driven techniques, gained ready-to-use classroom strategies, and engaged with practical activities designed to boost long-term retention. The workshop strengthened educator confidence, fostered collaboration, and inspired renewed enthusiasm for teaching Modern Greek. This initiative enriched professional practice, deepened cultural appreciation, and supported improved learning outcomes for students across South Australia.
