Sophia Laparidis is passionate about empowering the Greek diaspora to connect meaningfully with their heritage in contemporary Australia. As a former committee member of the Hellenic Collective, Sophia has supported initiatives that engage young people in Greek language and cultural programs.

Sophia has experience in educational governance, having served as a director of an incorporated association and on community and education committees, including the John Bray Alumni Network. Sophia’s corporate law background provides a foundation in strategy and compliance. With experience in international development, and a global education spanning England, Spain, Denmark and Australia, Sophia is committed to strengthening connections between Greece and Australia for future generations.
