The Hon. Greg Crafter AO serves as Chairman of the Hellenic Studies Foundation, bringing decades of experience in government and education to guide the organisation’s mission of preserving Greek language and culture in South Australia. A former South Australian Education Minister (1985–1992), he is renowned for championing language education and lifelong learning. His leadership extended nationally as Chair of the National Catholic Education Commission and internationally as Head of the International Baccalaureate Organisation (1997–2003), reflecting his deep commitment to educational excellence. Under his guidance, the Foundation continues to develop programs that enrich Greek language education, support youth engagement, and strengthen the broader community’s cultural and educational opportunities.
